People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Sindh
PPHI Sindh, a non-profit organisation, was established under Section 42 of The Companies Act 2017. (formerly The Companies Ordinance, 1984). The Pakistan Centre of Philanthropists (PCP), a government-approved organisation for recognising Not for Profit Organizations, has also accepted its NPO (Not for Profit Organization) accreditation. It is led by a board of directors comprised of seven seasoned businessmen and women from various backgrounds. Ex-Officio Board Members who are Secretaries to the Government of Sindh also represent it (Health, Finance, Planning & Development, and Population Welfare). PPHI Sindh is also registered with the Economic Affairs Division of the Pakistani government as a regional NGO authorised to accept foreign donations.
